Dynamic Linked Libraries
Free Book - "Dynamic Linked Libraries"
by: Luis Enriquez A.
Free Software has transformed life on the planet.
However, License compatibility has become a real challenge because of the GPL license copyleft restrictions. The Free Software Foundation provides an interpretation of the GPL license in the field of linking program libraries applying different criteria such as modification, dependency, interaction, distribution medium, and location. These criteria goes beyond the traditional derivative works framework established in national copyright laws, and international copyright conventions. However, the GPL license as a copyright license has to be interpreted by Judges of different jurisdictions and different legal traditions.
